Main services
Toonspeak aims to:
- Provide quality drama and theatre activities in the North of Glasgow.
- Challenge territorialism and discrimination by bringing together young people from different areas and backgrounds.
- Empower young people through the opportunity to manage their own project.
- Raise young people’s self-esteem through theatre and drama skills training.
- Let young people have fun and meet new mates in a safe and friendly environment.
- Provide quality entertainment to the audiences of the North of Glasgow.
Toonspeak aims to achieve the above through:
- Free weekly drama workshops in the North of Glasgow for any 11-25’s living in the area.
- At least one large scale production a year which will tour locally and to a city centre venue.
- An outreach programme of bespoke projects to benefit as many young people as possible through partnerships with other local agencies.
- An empowerment programme which encourages young people to take an active role in management through monthly masterclasses – e.g. Marketing.
Facilities
Toonspeak’s Weekly Workshops are free and available to all young people aged 11-25 living in the North Glasgow area.

Our office is open Monday – Friday 9am- 5pm. It’s best to give us a call before visiting.

Accessibility
Our office has a small studio space which can be hired out to local community organisations. We also have a selection of theatre lights and sound equipment available for hire to community groups at a small cost.
